From the moment we stepped into the Holbrooke Hotel, we were enveloped in its stunning antique charm. the decor exuded a perfect fusion of old-world elegance and modern flair, making every corner a visual delight. the attentive staff welcomed us warmly, setting the tone for a memorable stay. the cozy bar area, with its inviting ambiance, became our favorite spot to unwind after a day of exploring Grass Valley's downtown. the delightful appetizers paired beautifully with the selection of beers, making every evening a culinary experience to savor. the hotel's central location allowed us to easily immerse ourselves in the local culture, from the lively music-filled Thursdays at "the T" to the scenic beauty of nearby Buttermilk Bend for a riverside hike. Overall, the Holbrooke Hotel surpassed our expectations, offering a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and charm. It's a gem that truly stands out amidst the myriad of accommodation options, leaving a lasting impression that beckons for a return visit.
